The Anxiety Summit Season 6

A virtual online summit hosted by Food Mood Expert Trudy Scott

Certified Nutritionist and author of The Antianxiety Food Solution

The Anxiety Summit Season 6  (November 2020)

End Anxiety, Overwhelm, Stress, Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety, Fears, Ruminating Thoughts, and Negativity ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Anxiety is your body’s natural (and normal) response to a threat.

Unfortunately more people than ever before find themselves far too frequently in a state of chronic stress and anxiety. Most have no idea there are options other than medications, and yet some of these very same medications may be making things worse!

They’re also NEVER told that toxins and/or infections — mold, pesticides, metals, oxalates, fluoride, phthalates, air pollution, gluten, viruses, parasites, Lyme and more — could be a root cause.

Our understanding of the many root causes of anxiety is radically evolving. All of these possible root causes and mechanisms MUST be identified, explored and addressed!

She also is experienced in neuropsychological rehabilitation, and works with individuals who have experienced brain injuries or strokes. Along with Elizabeth Karle, she authored Extinguishing Anxiety, a book that assists individuals in overcoming the difficulties associated with anxiety disorders. The two are currently writing a second book, Rewire Your Anxious Brain, for New Harbinger.

Dr. Pittman practices evidence-based psychotherapy, which means that she uses approaches that have been studied and shown to be effective. Her focus is on understanding how the natural processes of the brain and body can be changed in order to improve one’s life. After 20 years of experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Neuropsychology, Dr. Pittman has acquired a substantial amount of knowledge about how to help people change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. One of her goals in therapy is to help individuals understand what needs to be changed in the brain to help them accomplish the changes they seek. She is continually amazed by the fact that the brain is capable of tremendous growth, change, and healing, no matter what the person’s age, and knows that, while medication can be useful, it is not always necessary to promote change. Her research on benzodiazepines was inspired by her growing awareness of individuals with anxiety disorders who were relying on these medications to cope with anxiety, and the lack of resources available for those who were interested in using alternate methods but had difficulty stopping the use of benzodiazepines.

What Attendees Have Had to Say

I have been riveted this entire week by the Anxiety Summit This whole week has been amazing! I have neglected all household responsibilities, much to the chagrin of those I care for, and it has been worth every second! Each interview has been fascinating, entertaining and nutrient-dense! Thank you!

The choice of speakers was really excellent, as was the whole format. I learned a great deal. I would also add that Trudy exudes both warmth and conviction, and I have looked forward every day to hearing her encouraging voice and learning from the provocative questions she asked each speaker. The interactive format was really nice–she never dominated the conversation, but often had something insightful to add to the guest’s comments.

I am a Naturopath/Nutritionist, specializing in the emotional/mental ramifications of Lyme Disease, and constantly attend webinars on numerous topics. I’m so impressed with Trudy’s knowledge and ability to ask the right questions and the webinar in general is fantastic… one of the best I’ve attended. Thank you, Trudy!

Fantastic work and what a selection of awe inspiring professionals leading the way forward in thinking about anxiety, stress and the biochemical dance that exists within everyone of us. Well done.

I’m so impressed with how extremely knowledgable, positive and engaging our speakers are. Your questioning is great and everyone’s such a good teacher, summarizing while adding tons of details and personal stories helps with comprehension of this amazing wealth of work. I am more than motivated to give up sugar and gluten and try some supplements while hopefully modeling for my children in their 20s how to be healthier and wiser. Thank you!
